Telemundo Richmond, Resource Business Solutions, Goodwill, the Virginia Employment Commission and the Resource Workforce Centers, have teamed up for a unique career fair celebrating culture and diversity in the Richmond region. The Telemundo Multicultural Career Fair & Festival is an opportunity for career seekers to speak face-to-face with employers large and small from across the Capital Region, while also offering a family friendly outdoor festival.

Every employer in the career fair will have at least one open position that they are actively recruiting for at the event and career seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and bring an updated resume.

Telemundo and Resource Business Solutions recognize that finding a job is challenging and to help make the process easier they are offering a great family festival during the career fair so that career seekers can come to the career fair and rest easy knowing that their friends and family will be able to enjoy the festival while they are busy meeting with employers. The festival will feature entertainment, food, games, and lots of fun for children and adults.

The Telemundo Multicultural Career Fair and Festival will take place Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Science Museum of Virginia . Free parking is available at the Science Museum, and the Museum on Broad Street making it easily accessible by GRTC bus.

  • Bi-lingual
  • Culturally unique sensitivities
  • Different perspectives

The demand for bilingual employees is expected to increase 22% by 2018 according to the U.S. Labor Department. This demand will be especially acute in high-demand, high-growth industries like health care, education and information technology

There is No Cost for employers to participate, and lunch is provided for only 2 Employers Only. There will also be space to conduct one-on-one interviews and Wi-Fi is available! You will have a table and are encouraged to bring materials about your organization and career opportunities.
